LA/Palmdale Regional Airport (PMD) supports a number of community events and organizations. Beginning in 2000, PMD has supported Manzanita Elementary School through its Adopt-A-School Program.

PMD is a host to the annual Salute to Youth Program for participating schools and a supporter or attendant at other events in the Antelope Valley.
