The Office of Intelligence and Emergency Operations completes its specialized assignment through the management of several specialized units including the Emergency Services Unit, Canine Detail, Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis Unit, Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit, Dignitary Protection Unit and the Security and Credentials Section. This office has over responsibility for developing proper coordination of law enforcement and public safety activities to reduce Los Angeles World Airports’ vulnerability to a terrorist event or catastrophic emergency.
