LAWA Rideshare is excited about new LAX FlyAway Service from Westwood and the new FlyAway/Metro Annual Transit Access Pass (A-TAP). In addition, the Board of Airport Commissioners approved an increase in the monthly transit subsidy rate effective June 2007. The new maximum is now $110 per month! LAWA Transit Program General Information:
LAWA's Mass Transit Subsidy Program consists of employees utilizing various modes of mass transit to commute to and from work on the majority of their work days. Mass Transit includes any bus, subway, light rail or commuter train. Some examples are: Metro Buses, Metro Rail (Green/Blue/Red/Gold Lines), LAX FlyAway Buses, Metrolink Trains, LADOT Commuter Express, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Torrance Transit, Culver CityBus, and South Bay Max. Participants are required to ride the minimum number of days and submit monthly tracking sheets.
Benefits and incentives available to Mass Transit Program participants include:
- Up to $110 reimbursement per month or free/discounted Monthly Pass
- Free emergency ride home service
- Club Metro incentives
