
Michael Feldman, Deputy Executive Director for Lawa Facilities Management Group
Michael Feldman assumed the position of Deputy Executive Director for Facilities Management at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in July, 2009. In this position Mr. Feldman will be responsible for Facilities Planning, Facilities Engineering, Environmental Services, and Construction & Maintenance.
Professional Experience
Mr. Feldman started his career in the airport industry in June 1981 when he joined what was then known as the Los Angeles Deportment of Airports, Environmental Management Bureau as an Assistant City Planner. He left Los Angeles in 1991 to become the manager of Aviation Planning for the Aviation Division of the Port of Seattle. Mr. Feldman has been the Deputy Managing Director of Aviation Facilities and Environmental Programs for Sea-Tac International Airport since 1998. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives, and has previously served two terms as President of the Airport Facilities Council for the International Facilities Management Association.
Education
Michael has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Planning from the Humboldt State University SChool of Natural Resources and is working on his Executive MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
