Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment and Affirmative Action Provisions - No forms are required given that these requirements are incorporated as contract provisions. However, the bidder/proposer is required to affirm that they will comply with these contract obligations in the Vendor Identification Form.

Summary:

States that the contractor will comply with the Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment, and Affirmative Action Practices endorsed by the City of Los Angeles or will submit its own plan. The latter will be accepted only if approved by Public Works, Bureau of Contract Administration.

Details:

Pursuant to the Los Angeles Administrative Code, Division 10, Chapter 1, Article 1, Section 10.13, it is the policy of the City of Los Angeles to require each person or entity contracting for goods or services in the amount $1,000 or more to comply with the Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment, and Affirmative Action provisions of the City of Los Angeles laws.

All LAWA Bidders/Proposers and their Subcontractors must agree to adhere to the above mentioned provisions, designate an Equal Employment Opportunity Officer and provide his/her contact information in the Vendor Identification Form.
