EXTENDED – CONTINUOUS CLOSURE OF NORTHBOUND AVIATION BLVD. BETWEEN ARBOR VITAE ST. AND CENTURY BLVD.

Activity:

To facilitate construction for LAX's Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), northbound Aviation Blvd. between Arbor Vitae St. and Century Blvd. will be closed continuously (24/7) through September 2024. Traffic will be detoured via westbound Century Blvd., northbound Airport Blvd. and eastbound Arbor Vitae St.

Traffic will be maintained at all times. Flaggers and signage will be in place to facilitate access and detours. Please plan ahead for potential delays, always observe posted signage, remain alert and use caution when traveling near construction areas.

Please note: A nightly full closure of both north- and southbound lanes on Aviation Blvd. between Arbor Vitae St. and Century Blvd. may be implemented on an as-needed basis for construction activities (limited overnight hours between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.). When the nightly full closure is in place, detour routes for both northbound and southbound traffic will be in place.
