LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS APPOINTS CHERE LOTT NEW PROPERTY BUREAU CHIEF
(Los Angeles, California – April 28, 2000) Chere D. Lott has been appointed Property Bureau Chief of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). In her new position, Lott is responsible for developing and maintaining cargo and maintenance facilities, passenger terminals, and office and warehouse space; negotiating and issuing leases, licenses, easements, rights-of-way, and other contracts involving the use of airport property; advising senior management on real estate matters; and representing LAWA before various tenant groups, including airlines and other lease holders.

Ms. Lott comes to her new position after serving as Real Estate Officer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and prior to that her own law practice in Los Angeles. She has also worked for the City of Houston where she served as an Assistant City Attorney and Director of Real Estate. A graduate of Carleton College with a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies, Lott received her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977. She resides in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles World Airports owns and operates four airports. Los Angeles International (LAX), Ontario International (ONT), Palmdale Regional (PMD), and Van Nuys (VNY).
