NEW NIGHT LANE CLOSURE HOURS IN LAX’s SEPULVEDA TUNNEL

WHAT:Construction crews will be working in the Sepulveda Tunnel at the intersection of the I-105 Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. Two of the three lanes in both the northbound and southbound directions of the tunnel and the southbound upper and lower exits from the airport to Sepulveda Boulevard will be temporarily closed.

Southbound exiting airport traffic will detour east to Century Boulevard and then south on Aviation Boulevard.

WHEN:Beginning Thursday, March 2 and subsequent Mondays through Fridays through May. The times of the closures will be from 8 p.m. and continuing until 5 a.m. in the number three or outer lanes, and from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. in the center or number two lanes. All lanes will be open beginning at 5 a.m. on those construction days.
