MEDIA ADVISORY -- CLOSURE HOURS SET FOR LAX 96TH STREET EXIT FOR STREET WORK


 

WHAT: Construction crews will close a portion of Skyway Road (lower level) and World Way West, adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Terminal 1, that leads exiting airport traffic to 96thStreet and Sepulveda Boulevard. The road will be closed for two upcoming periods during late evenings for street work.

Traffic entering LAX on 96thStreet will not be affected. Exiting traffic at Skyway (to 96thStreet) and World Way West will be detoured to other airport exits.

 
WHEN: The two closure periods and the hours are:

 

  1. Monday, January 15 to Thursday, January 18, from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  2. Sunday, January 21 to Thursday, January 25, from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
