VAN NUYS AIRPORT’S CITIZENS ADVISORY COUNCIL RELOCATES MEETINGS 
Meeting Set for New Location on November 6

 

(Van Nuys, Calif.)- A new location for monthly meetings of the Van Nuys Airport Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) will be in effect for the CAC’s next regular meeting on November 6, 2001. The new site is located at Odens Hall in North Hills’ James Monroe High School and will replace the former location at the Van Nuys Airtel Plaza Hotel. Meetings will continue to commence at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at Monroe High School, located at 9229 Haskell Ave.

The 18-member Council was formed in 1985 by the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners to review issues affecting the operation and development of Van Nuys Airport and to provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Airport Commissioners, the Mayor’s Office, the City Council and other appropriate agencies. All meetings are open to the public.
