SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED FOR ADDITIONAL PUBLIC HEARINGS ON LAX MASTER PLAN

Los Angeles, California - July 23, 2001) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the Federal Aviation Administration have announced the schedule and venues for six additional public hearings on the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Master Plan and related Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR).

The public hearings will start with a one-hour workshop to describe the project using display boards and other types of media. Following the workshop the public will be invited to speak at each location. No decisions on the project will be made at the public hearings.

The hearings will be conducted jointly by the FAA and LAWA at the following locations:
