NEW POCKET-SIZED “ALL ABOUT LAX“ PASSENGER BROCHURE IS AVAILABLE IN FIVE LANGUAGES TO AIRPORT USERS

(Los Angeles, CA. -- October 22, 2002) Air travel passengers can navigate Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) using the latest edition of the free “All About LAX” brochure now designed to fit conveniently in a pocket or purse.

In an effort to assist airport users, travel agents, airline ticket agents, or anyone with a question about LAX and its services, airport officials created a two-inch by three-inch color brochure with a fold out sheet with text and maps. Inside the brochure is information about passenger services, parking rates, parking availability and traffic conditions, baggage carts, lost and found, disabled and elderly services, ground transportation, public transportation, taxis and FlyAway bus services.

The brochure includes an insert listing the airlines serving LAX, their airline codes and terminal locations.

With approximately one-third of LAX passengers arriving from and departing to international destinations, “All About LAX “ is again offered in several foreign languages. In addition to English, there are versions in Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.

Travelers, travel agencies, and corporate travel offices can order copies of “All About LAX” by calling 310-646-5260, or by e-mail at spalmer@lawa.org.
