TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION TO ANNOUNCE DEPLOYMENT OF FEDERAL SECURITY SCREENERS AT ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

 

On Tuesday, Oct. 8, Richard Baker, the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) federal security director for Ontario International Airport (ONT) will announce the deployment of TSA security screeners to passenger checkpoints at the airport.

TSA, which is responsible for civil aviation security, is in the process of establishing federal security operations in the nation's commercial airports under mandates of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act of 2001.
