Santa Arrives by Helicopter at Local Elementary School to Spread Holiday Cheer

 

 

WHAT: Santa will fly in by helicopter to Gault Street Elementary School in Van Nuys, spreading holiday cheer to more than 500 children and handing out Van Nuys Airport mugs, school supplies and assorted holiday treats to all participating students. A lively ground crew featuring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck will be part of the festivities. Prior to Santa's arrival, entertainment will include authentic North American Indian dances by the Eagle Spirit Dancers. The entire celebration is courtesy of Van Nuys Airport's Adopt-A-School program, with funding contributed by the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the Ninety-Nines, a nonprofit woman pilot's organization.Excellent opportunity for holiday visuals.
