Ontario International Airport (ONT) to Conduct Emergency Exercise
WHAT: | Ontario International Airport (ONT) will conduct a full-scale exercise of its disaster preparedness plan. The purpose of the exercise is to test the effectiveness of ONT's emergency plan as mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, provide a realistic training scenario for emergency response personnel, and determine the effectiveness of outside agency capabilities in response to an aircraft emergency. Agencies scheduled to participate in the exercise include the City of Ontario fire and police departments, California Highway Patrol, Red Cross, Montclair Fire Department, Chino Valley Medical Center, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, U.S. Family Care Medical Center in Montclair, San Bernardino County Coroner's Office, Mercy Air, and American Medical Response ambulatory services. |
