LOS ANGELES AIRPORT INTRODUCES LAX CONNECTION NEWSLETTER

     (Los Angeles, California – March 5, 2003) In an effort to enhance communications with the travel and tourism industry, travel writers and consumer-interest groups, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has launched a monthly on-line newsletter called LAX Connection.

     The newsletter consolidates information on new passenger services, news releases, brochures and other developments at LAX of interest to the travel industry.

     The February and March issues of LAX Connection include information about new airport users' guides in five languages, brochures, LAX website features, Smart Traveler Tips, food/beverage and retail concessions, current security measures and public art displays.

     Travelers can view the monthly newsletter by visiting the LAX portion of Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA) website, www.lawa.org, under Airport Facts. Then select the LAX Connection Monthly Online Publication heading. Another way to receive the monthly newsletter is by email.
