SPANISH VERSION OF GUIDE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES IS AVAILABLE FROM LAX
(Los Angeles, CA. – March 11, 2004) Building on its commitment to continually improve the passenger experience, LAX has produced a Spanish version of the brochure entitled “A Guide for Individuals with Disabilities.”
Now Spanish-speaking individuals with disabilities or the elderly can easily navigate their way through LAX. The free brochure is available upon request.
The colorful, 4-1/2-inch by 8-1/2-inch brochure printed in large type for easier reading, includes information about new airport security measures, passenger drop off and pick up locations, parking, ground transportation, airport facilities and services, airline services, information services, general travel tips and contact information. The brochure provides travelers tips on carrying medication and supplies such as syringes, making connecting flights, and where to direct passenger comments.
Travelers, tourism and travel agencies and corporate travel offices can request copies of both the English and Spanish versions of “A Guide for Individuals with Disabilities” by calling LAX Public Relations at (310) 646-5260 or by sending an e-mail to spalmer@lawa.org.
