LOS ANGELES AIRPORT SPOKESPERSONS AVAILABLE FOR THANKSGIVING TRAVEL INTERVIEWS
WHAT:
Media representatives from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be available at terminal curbside to share "Smart Traveler Tips" and travel forecast for the Thanksgiving holiday travel period. Airport officials estimate 1.8 million passengers are expected to come through LAX during the 10-day holiday period Friday, Nov. 18 through Monday, Nov. 28. The busiest travel days are expected to include Wednesday, November 23, and Sunday, November 27.
WHEN:
Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005
5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
RSVP:
Media wishing to interview LAX media representatives must call by 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 to schedule an early-morning time.
WHERE:
Upper/Departure Level between Terminals 1 and 2, between Terminal 3 and Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), and between TBIT and Terminal 4.
PARKING:
Television and radio broadcast-equipped vehicles displaying a valid LAX Media Parking Permit ONLY will be allowed to park terminal curbside. Media vehicles parked curbside must be attended at all times. All media with valid LAX Media Parking Permits may park in Vendor Delivery Lots 3, 4 and 6 located across from the same numbered terminals on the Lower/Arrival Level. All other media must park in parking structures.
