LOS ANGELES MASTER PLAN MEETING SCHEDULED MARCH 8 IN SPANISH FOR RESIDENTS OF INGLEWOOD AND LENNOX
Los Angeles, CA March 6, 2005 --- Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will hold a special bilingual public meeting March 8 for the residents of Inglewood and Lennox to discuss the process of how the Los Angeles International Airport’s Master Plan will proceed and how the residents of these communities can participate in the plan.
The public is invited to the meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary School, 10322 Condon Ave., Lennox. Bilingual services in Spanish will be available to those attending the meeting. The LAX Master Plan Stakeholder Liaison will discuss how Lennox and Inglewood will be affected by the projects planned by the airport and how these communities may benefit economically and socially.
The agenda for the community meeting will focus on the LAX Master Plan and the Implementation Process, who is a stakeholder, operation of the stakeholder liaison office and how the LAX Master Plan affects stakeholders.
