(Los Angeles, California – January 6, 2009) The telephone area code for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Public Relations Office has been changed from 310 to 424. The office’s number is now (424) 646-5260.

The 24-hour duty officer pager number is unchanged at (310) 523-8994. News media seeking assistance during off-hours and weekends should continue to use the 24-hour duty officer pager number to reach an airport public information officer.

LAX Public Relations Division hours remain Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
