PARTIAL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND IMPERIAL HIGHWAY NEAR LAX ANNOUNCED OCTOBER 17 TO 21

The California Film Commission and the California Department of Transportation have notified Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) operations of intermittent road closures on westbound Imperial Highway beginning Saturday, October 17, 2009.  The road closures will extend until Wednesday, October 21.  
Motorists are advised to give themselves extra time due to possible congestion. Drivers exiting the airport will still have access to the eastbound Interstate – 105 Freeway. 

• Saturday, October 17, 2009 – Monday, October 19, 2009 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Lane closure (3rd lane) – westbound Imperial Highway from Inglewood to La Cienega

• Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lane closure (3rd lane) – westbound Imperial Highway from Inglewood to La Cienega

• Tuesday, October 20, 2009 – Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
All – westbound lanes only on Imperial Highway from Inglewood to La Cienega. Northbound 405 Freeway on ramp closed.
