LA AIRPORT POLICE STATEMENT REGARDING EUROPEAN TRAVEL ADVISORY

 

In response to the U.S. Dept. of State issuance of an advisory regarding travel toEurope, Los Angeles Airport Police Chief George R. Centeno issued the following statement: 

 

 "Los Angeles Airport Police are aware of, and closely monitoring the reported terrorist threat to Europe.  We will continue to collaborate and work in close partnership with our law enforcement partners at LAX regarding this alert.  We remain diligent in the strategic high visibility deployment of uniformed and plain clothes officers on foot and vehicle patrols, as well as, other security measures that are not visible to the public". 

 

All suspicious activity at Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) should be reported immediately to the LAX Police dispatch at 310-646-4268 or 1-877-A-THREAT/1-877-284-7328.
