(Los Angeles, California – June 15, 2012)  Motorists driving to and from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this weekend are advised that a portion of Imperial Highway between Sepulveda Boulevard and California Street (one block west of the intersection of Imperial Highway and Sepulveda) will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning tonight Friday, June 15, and again Saturday night to Sunday morning. 

            The exit ramp leading to LAX from westbound I-105 Century Freeway to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open.  However, the entrance ramp exiting LAX from southbound Sepulveda Boulevard to eastbound I-105 and westbound Imperial Highway will be closed during the designated hours.

            The Los Angeles Department of Public Works, Bureau of Street Services Resurfacing and Reconstruction Division is scheduled to repave and resurface this portion of Imperial Highway.
