LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT HELPS TRAVELERS CONNECT WITH FREE WI-FI

 

Ontario, California (May 2, 2012) – Travelers can now connect in more ways than one at LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) thanks to the addition of free Wi-Fi high speed internet access. Starting May 2, 2012, travelers at ONT can use up to two hours of free Wi-Fi service each day throughout Terminals 2 and 4.

            “We’re providing an amenity for travelers that is increasing in demand at airports,” said Airport Manager, Jess Romo. “It’s an enhanced customer service tool for tech-savvy travelers, especially business travelers. The new service will allow anyone waiting at the airport with a laptop, personal digital assistant, or other wireless device that has internet capabilities, the ability to connect for free.”

            There are five simple steps to access ONT Wi-Fi:

1)    Connect to the ONT Passenger Wi-Fi system using the SSID of ONT-Wi-Fi.

2)    Launch a web browser.

3)    Accept the Terms and Conditions and register with the ONT Wi-Fi service using your e-mail address and cell phone number.

4)    Retrieve the password sent to you via text message or e-mail (on smart phone).

5)    Click “Sign In” and enter the e-mail address you registered with and the password you received, and click “Login” to start your internet access.

ONT is located in the Inland Empire, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the center of Southern California. It is a medium-hub, full-service airport with commercial jet service to 15 major U.S. cities and through service to many international destinations.
