ADVISORY: PUBLIC SCOPING MEETING FOR LAX MIDFIELD SATELLITE CONCOURSE SCHEDULED

(Los Angeles, California – February 20, 2013)  Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has announced a Notice of Preparation and has scheduled a public meeting on Thursday, February 21, 2013, to obtain public comment on the scope and content of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Midfield Satellite Concourse Project at Los Angeles International Airport. The scoping meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Flight Path Museum, 6661 West Imperial Highway, Los Angeles. The public may arrive at any time to speak one-on-one with LAWA staff and project consultants in an “open-house” format.

LAWA welcomes all comments regarding the content and scope of environmental issues to be addressed in the EIR. All comments will be considered in the preparation of the EIR. Written comments will be accepted at the scoping meeting or they must be submitted by March 11, 2013, to:  Lisa Trifiletti, Project Manager, LAWA Capital Programming and Planning Group, One World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
