UPDATE #4/FINAL at 1:53 p.m. ON TUESDAY, NOV. 29, 2016

 

Post-march rally by labor demonstrators has concluded on Airport Boulevard.  The group is dispersing and will board buses shortly.    

 

UPDATE #3  at 12:49 p.m. ON TUESDAY, NOV. 29, 2016

 

1.       All of the demonstrators exited the Central Terminal Area at 12:30 p.m., and are walking on 98th Street toward a rally on the closed one-block area of Airport Boulevard between 98th Street and Century Boulevard.

2.       Motorists are advised to avoid 98th Street and Airport Boulevard.

 

UPDATE #2 at 12:18 p.m. ON TUESDAY, NOV. 29, 2016

 

Customers of rental car companies located on or near Airport Boulevard are advised to contact their rental car company to obtain directions to their drop-off locations due to the one-block closure of Airport Boulevard between Century Boulevard and 98th Street.

 

UPDATE #1 AT 11:39 a.m. ON TUESDAY, NOV. 29, 2016

 

1.       The demonstration has started. Two groups are on the Upper Level, with one group  on the north side and the other group on the south side, marching toward Tom Bradley International Terminal.

2.       No impact to flight operations has been reported.

3.       No impact to traffic in the Central Terminal Area has been reported.

In addition to  the pre-designated media parking locations, another alternative media parking location is available at the LAX Cellphone Waiting Lot at 96th and Vicksburg.
