LAX GUESTS ARE INVITED TO LAX INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL IN COMMEMORATION OF NATIONAL CUSTOMER APPRECIATION WEEK

(Los Angeles, California – October 3, 2016)  In the spirit of National Customer Appreciation Week, which is from October 3-7, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has partnered with DFS Group and Westfield to offer guests an LAX International Festival at Tom Bradley International Terminal’s (TBIT) Great Hall today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The festival includes musical performances from the International Children’s Choir of Long Beach, Brasil Brasil Cultural Center, and Le Ballet Dembaya, an African drummer ensemble.  Guests can indulge in free mini-massages courtesy of XpressSpa.  In addition, guests can enjoy these activities:

•           Makeup tutorials from Benefit and Dior Cosmetics

•           “LAX Kisses” from a Hershey’s Kiss character

•           Food samples from Torn Ranch

•           Bottle engraving available on spirit and wine purchase

•           Spin-the-Wheel game with an array of prizes from LAX, DFS, and Westfield.   

“We are excited to partner with DFS and Westfield to offer for an International Festival that

reflects our appreciation of our many guests from around the globe,” said LAWA Chief Operating Officer Samson Mengistu.  “We hope that through the many fun activities that we have in store for our guests that they leave with a fond lasting impression of LAX.”

The week’s celebration also includes free giveaways from the information booths in the baggage claim areas of each terminal.  Because National Customer Appreciation Week also falls on Golden Week, an important celebration for many travelers through TBIT, DFS will offer events at TBIT’s Great Hall throughout the week until Sunday, October 9.
