ISLAND WIDENING TO CLOSE OUTER CURB
AT TOM BRADLEY TERMINAL, REQUIRE OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES
Work to widen the outer commercial island at Tom Bradley International Terminal will require closure of the curb as well as the adjacent pickup lane for two five-day periods this month.

ACTIVITY:

To accommodate additional pedestrians during Automated People Mover-related construction in front of the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the outer commercial island will be widened by 6 feet. The inner lanes and right-most pickup lane will be closed overnight, with LAWA shuttles pushed to the outer lanes and stops closed during those limited hours. The island and pickup points will be closed for the duration of the work.

DATES

Nov. 11 – 15 (south half)
Nov. 18 – 22 (north half)

TIME:

1 – 6 a.m.

IMPACT:

Access to the center island and pickup points at Tom Bradley International Terminal will be restricted for the duration of the project to allow time for concrete to cure, while lane closures will take place overnight. When shuttle stops are closed, guests will be directed to the next-closest open stop. Guests being picked up by private vehicles are strongly encouraged to use the new Terminal B Pickup Area on the ground floor of Parking Structure 3.
