LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), in partnership with Rum & Humble and DUBLAB, is thrilled to announce the Winter/Spring 2025 line-up for LAX Presents, a dynamic music series curated for guests at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Staged in locations across domestic and international terminals, the Winter/Spring program runs from January through June and premiered in Terminal 1 with In Sheep’s Clothing, the renowned Los Angeles-based DJ collective and hi-fi vinyl listening lounge. This season’s highlights have so far included Afro-futurist songwriter Jake Blount, iconic LA DJ legends DaM-Funk and Funkmosphere, genre-defying vocalist Sharada Shashidhar and Soul/Funk duo Andre Cruz and Chris Lujan.
“In our ten seasons of LAX Presents, we’ve seen an incredible breadth of artistry,” said Sarah Cifarelli, LAX Art Program Director. “We are pleased to highlight Los Angeles’ vibrant music scene in our unique venue — the ‘gateway’ to the city.”
Celebrating LAX Presents’ tenth season, LAWA is pleased to host 16 stand-out artists over the first half of the year. From experimental Czech sound designer Bohemian Cristal Instrument to a performance of Brian Eno’s genre-defining album Ambient 1: Music for Airports by pianist Bruce Brubaker, LAX Presents elevates the airport to a thoughtful venue for experimentation and forward-thinking philosophy in the arts. LAX will also host dance DJs such as Bears in Space and Langosta, who will curate rhythms and beats for a fun, positive atmosphere for travelers. Later in the season, Latin band Healing Gems and Peruvian dance and music ensemble INCA will feature dancers along with musical entertainment.
