Allison Kunath is known for her crisp, geometric murals and large scale watercolor paintings. Leaning heavily on abstraction, she creates graphic scenes and symbols that explore human connection, relationships, and psychology. With an emphasis on common developmental patterns, she incorporates themes from her own relationships and mental health, offering up work that feels as universal as it is deeply personal. Kunath is based in Ventura, California.

In the midst of our daily routines, there are fleeting moments that pull us out of the ordinary and offer a glimpse into something greater-moments where the mundane becomes sacred, and we find ourselves connected to a deeper sense of being. Everyday Transcendence captures these ephemeral experiences, creating a portal to life-affirming emotions we so often overlook in the rush of life. It's a visual metaphor for those brief windows of joy, love, connection, and freedom that offer us a new perspective, reminding us that transcendence is within reach, even in the most unexpected places.
