Consisting of the dynamic trio Soulera5150, Josh Whittemore, and Ruben Molina, the Southern Soul Spinners vinyl DJ collective emerged in the fall of 2010 with a clear vision: to liberate soul music from the confines of car stereos, garage jams, and intimate house parties, and bring its groove onto dance floors worldwide.

Over the past fourteen years, more than eight hundred distinct tracks have graced the Spinners’ turntables, igniting clubs and communities across the globe. The Southern Soul Spinners have played across Germany, England, Spain, Mexico, Japan and throughout the United States, leaving an indelible mark on audiences.

While each member brings their unique flair to the mix, they remain true to their roots in the soul and rocksteady sounds of the 1960s and ‘70s. Their seamless blend of classics ensures an unforgettable experience for all who have the privilege of hitting the dance floor.

Set to drop in 2024, the highly anticipated documentary on the Southern Soul Spinners promises to take audiences on a wild ride through their extraordinary journey.
