The Los Angeles Area Advisory Committee was established by the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners and approved by the Los Angeles City Council in 1975. The committee reviews airport operations issues that impact their communities and makes recommendations to the Commission, Mayor's Office, City Council and other appropriate agencies.
The 19-member committee is comprised of representatives appointed by elected officials from communities surrounding LAX, including Culver City, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lennox, Marina del Rey and Westchester/Playa del Rey.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month, 7 p.m., at the Samuel Greenberg Board Room in the Clifton A. Moore Administration Building at Los Angeles International Airport #1 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
