Lane Closures on Westchester Parkway and Airport Boulevard

Activity:
Lane closures and intersection work is needed to install a new 24-inch reclaimed water line along Westchester Parkway and Airport Boulevard. The existing water line on Jenny Avenue at 96th Street is being abandoned to make way for the Intermodal Transportation Facility – West, part of the LAX Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP).

During this phase of the project, there will be single lane closures on Westchester Parkway in both directions (eastbound/westbound) and a single lane northbound closure on Airport Boulevard. Through traffic will be maintained at all times on Westchester Parkway and Airport Boulevard.

There is potential for single lane closures on 96th Street in both directions (eastbound/westbound), as well as a potential full westbound closure during weekend work.

Flaggers will be present as needed. Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times.
