LANE CLOSURES ON AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND 96TH STREET TO SUPPORT INTERSECTION RECONFIGURATION FOR AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVER FOUNDATIONS

Activity:

LAX Integrated Express Solutions (LINXS) is constructing the foundations of the Automated People Mover guideway at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and 96th Street.

During this construction activity, lane closures will be required to reconfigure the intersection to support the future installation of cast-in-drilled-hole foundations. The closure area will be clearly marked with traffic delineator posts, and flaggers will be present on site to assist with traffic control and pedestrian activity. Once the intersection has been reconfigured, the new traffic configuration will be in place for several months. Flaggers will continue to be present on site to assist with traffic control and pedestrian activity.
