LOWER/ARRIVALS LEVEL CLOSURES ON WORLD WAY IN EFFECT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT TERMINAL 3
Beginning, Wednesday, Jan. 12, Lower World Way (Lower/Arrivals Level) outer lanes at Terminal 3 will be closed for several nights to prepare for construction of a pedestrian bridge over the roadway to connect the future Automated People Mover's West Central Terminal Area Station to the terminal. Full closures of the Lower/Arrivals Level outer lanes will be in effect from Wednesday, Jan. 12 to Friday, Jan. 14, Saturday, Jan. 15 through Tuesday, Jan. 25 and Thursday, Feb. 17 to Saturday, Feb. 19 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
During these closures, all Terminal 3, Tom Bradley International Terminal and Terminal 4 traffic will be detoured to the inner lanes on the Lower/Arrivals Level. All other traffic will be detoured to Lower West Way to access the southern terminals or to exit the Central Terminal Area. Please watch for posted signage and prepare to follow all detour routes during this work.
In addition to the full closures listed above, traffic barriers will be in place around the construction area, reducing the number of available driving lanes 24/7 across from Terminal 3. Flaggers will assist with traffic control. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
