LOWER WORLD WAY OUTER LANE CLOSURES AT TOM BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL FOR SHORING TOWER INSTALLATION

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TRAVEL IMPACTS AT LAX**

Activity:
In preparation for the installation of the final pedestrian bridge that will connect terminals to the Automated People Mover train system, outer lane closures on Lower World Way (Arrivals Level) at Tom Bradley International Terminal will be implemented beginning Tuesday, Sept. 13 until Friday, Oct. 14. Guests are asked to plan ahead for possible traffic delays.

During these closures, landside operations will be staffing the Traffic Management Command Post to monitor and respond to all traffic-related concerns. In addition, traffic officers, construction personnel and airport operations staff will be on-site 24/7 through the duration of the project to help mitigate impacts and provide assistance to travelers.

From Tuesday, Sept. 13 to Friday, Sept. 16, outer lanes on Lower World Way (Arrivals Level) at Tom Bradley International will be closed from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. to facilitate the installation of a shoring tower. The shoring tower will support the installation of a pedestrian bridge structure that will connect Tom Bradley International to the future Automated People Mover West Central Terminal Area Station. Motorists will be able to route around the closures by using detours on West Way or the inner lanes on Lower World Way.

The full closure of the outer lanes will also be in place on Friday, Oct. 14 from midnight to 8 a.m.

Please watch for posted signage and prepare to follow all detour routes during this work. Always use caution when traveling through construction areas.
