EXTENDED: CONTINUOUS CLOSURE OF NORTHBOUND AVIATION BLVD. BETWEEN ARBOR VITAE ST. AND CENTURY BLVD.
Activity:
To facilitate construction for LAX's Automated People Mover, northbound Aviation Blvd. between Arbor Vitae St. and Century Blvd. will be closed continuously (24/7) beginning Saturday, September 23 at 8 p.m. This work is anticipated to run through June 2024. Traffic will be detoured via westbound Century Blvd., northbound Airport Blvd. and eastbound Arbor Vitae St.
Southbound Aviation Blvd. will not be affected by this work outside of the implementation impacts listed below:

To implement traffic control for the full closure of northbound Aviation Blvd., the following areas will be temporarily closed:
Saturday, September 23 at 8 p.m. through Sunday, September 24 at 8 a.m. (12 hours):
- Northbound Aviation Blvd. between 104th St. and Arbor Vitae St.
- Southbound Aviation Blvd. between Hillcrest Blvd. and Century Blvd.
Aviation Blvd. between Arbor Vitae St. and Century Blvd. will be closed on an as-needed basis nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Detour signage will be in place when closures are implemented.
Following implementation, the continuous (24/7) northbound Aviation Blvd. closure will be in place through June 2024.*
