LANE RESTRICTIONS ON CENTURY BLVD. AT CONCOURSE WAY

Activity:

To facilitate work for the Roadway and Utility Enabling (RUE) project, a temporary, continuous closure of three lanes on westbound Century Blvd. at Concourse Way (between La Cienega Blvd. and Aviation Blvd.) will be implemented from Friday, March 22 at 9 p.m. to Monday, March 25 at 6 a.m.

One lane of westbound Century Blvd. will be maintained at all times, including the left turn pocket to southbound Concourse Way.

To mitigate project impacts, the following measures will be taken:

• Flaggers and signage will be in place to assist with wayfinding and maintenance of traffic, as well as access to local businesses. Construction message boards will be placed at:
  • Westbound Century Blvd. before La Cienega Blvd.
  • Northbound La Cienega Blvd. before Century Blvd.
  • Southbound La Cienega Blvd. before Century Blvd.
• There will always be one lane of WB traffic open.
• There will always be a left turn pocket open for southbound traffic onto S. Concourse Way.
• There will be little to no impact to eastbound traffic.
• There will be DOT Traffic Control officers stationed in the intersection when the signals are out of service to keep traffic moving through the intersection.
• LAWA Airport Operations will have staff on duty this weekend to monitor and mitigate any potential traffic impacts.

Please plan ahead for potential delays, always observe posted signage, remain alert and use caution when traveling near construction areas.
