 Taxiway D Between Taxiway AA and Taxilane D14 and Taxilane D14 Opening

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 0630L, Phase 3 of the Taxiway D Extension Project will be completed and the newly constructed Taxiway D between Taxiway AA and Taxilane D14, and Taxilane D14 will be opened.  
 
When Taxiway D between Taxiway AA and D14 and Taxilane D14 are opened, they will be restricted to Aircraft Design Group IV (ADG IV) or smaller (MD11/B767).  This restriction will be required due to future construction limits and will be in place until July 5, 2024 (Estimated).
 
Taxilane E14 will be permanently closed at 0030L on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. The new entrance to the FedEx Apron and hangar will be from Taxiway AA to Taxiway D and Taxilane D14, starting at 0630L on September 12, 2023.
 
Operational Impacts:
  • New Taxiway D will be opened between Taxiway AA and Taxilane D14 to ADG IV or smaller (MD11/B767).
  • New Taxilane D14 will be opened to ADG IV or smaller (MD11/B767).
  • A new zipper road crossing connecting VSR D to VSR E, crossing Taxilane D14 will be opened on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Vehicle Service Road Driver Safety Items:
  • Drivers must be vigilant and exercise caution as they proceed across the new Taxiway D and Taxilane D14 zipper road crossing.
