Taxiway C Continuous Closure

for Pavement Rehabilitation

 

Start: December 9, 2024 at 0100 PDT

Finish: December 13, 2024 at 0800 PDT

(Pacific Daylight Time)

 

 

Taxiway C between Taxilane C8 and Gate 57 will be closed continuously for 5 days beginning on Monday December 9, 2024 at 0100 PDT, and will be reopened on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 0800 PDT. This closure is required to facilitate repaving a section of asphalt on Taxiway C, south of Terminal 5, followed by taxiway markings restoration.

 

In conjunction with this closure, and for the duration of the project, Taxiway C8 between Taxiways B and C will be restricted to ADG III and smaller, such as the B737 and A321. Taxilane C8 in between Terminals 5 & 6 will remain open and unrestricted. Please note that the Vehicle Service Road that crosses Taxiway C, south of Terminal 5, will also be closed. Drivers should expect detours to alternate routes.

 

Notices to Air Missions (NOTAMs) will be issued 72 hours prior to the closure. Please plan flight operations accordingly and check current NOTAMs at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch for current airfield operating conditions.
