MEDIA ADVISORY -- NEW TELEPHONE NUMBERS FOR VNY PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIVISION

All media are advised that Van Nuys Airport's (VNY) Public Affairs Division now has its own telephone number.

During regular business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., the news media are requested to call (818) 909-3529. After-hours and weekends, all media inquiries should be directed to Airport Police at 818) 989-1747. Airport Police will notify the appropriate spokesperson. The general administrative number for the airport remains the same: (818) 785-8838. The following Public Affairs representatives are official airport spokespersons:

Van Nuys Airport, one of four airports owned and operated by Los Angles World Airports, operates as the fifth busiest airport in the United States in terms of takeoffs and landings. The airport has gained prominence for its guided tour and community outreach programs, including the annual Van Nuys Airport Aviation Expo.
