LANE CLOSURES, TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS THROUGH SEPULUVEDA BOULEVARD TUNNEL AT LAX MARCH 29-31
(Los Angeles, CA – March 25, 2004) Traffic flow through the Sepulveda Boulevard Tunnel, near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be partially restricted during late nights beginning Monday night, March 29, through Thursday morning, April 1, for cleaning that requires lane closures.
The cleaning crew will work between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The roadway will be fully open during other hours of the day.
On March 29, only one southbound lane will be open through the tunnel during the cleaning period. On March 30 and March 31, only one northbound lane will be open through the tunnel during the cleaning period.
Traffic exiting from the I-105 northbound Sepulveda off-ramp will still have access through the tunnel.
Travelers and visitors to LAX are encouraged to use the westbound Century Boulevard entrance or the southbound Sepulveda Boulevard entrance.
