FIRST PAY-TO- USE PUBLIC BUSINESS LOUNGE OPENS TO SERVE
BUSINESS TRAVELERS AT LAX’S TOM BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL

(Los Angeles, California – December 4, 2008)  Travelers at Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) can enjoy the comfort and services available in the new reLAX Lounge, opening today as the first pay-to-use, business lounge at the airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).

The lounge is located before passenger security screening at the center of TBIT’s mezzanine level.  Admission of $25 provides three hours use of the lounge, which is open to all persons 21 years and older.  Passengers with flights at other terminals also may use the reLAX Lounge

Walter Vergara, marketing director for the lounge’s operator, Airport Terminal Management, said, “We believe the reLAX Lounge fills the needs of an important segment of the business travel market — those not affiliated with an airline lounge program.  For a $25 fee, a business traveler -- regardless of airline or class of service -- can enjoy a tranquil space, catch up on work, enjoy our complimentary refreshments or just relax.”

The reLAX Lounge features comfortable seating and views of LAX’s west side.  The $25 fee covers complimentary snacks and beverages, and use of the lounge’s business center that offers wireless Internet access, faxing, photocopying and printing.  Further information is available at (310) 590-1650 or www.relaxloungelax.com .

(NOTE TO EDITORS:  Photos of the lounge are available at the Los Angeles World Airports Electronic Newsroom for Media at www.lawamedia.org .  Free registration is required for media to access the LAWA newsroom.)
