LAX ANNOUNCES POSSIBLE TRAFFIC CONGESTION DUE TO LABOR DEMONSTRATION

Motorists entering and exiting Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) are asked to allow extra time due to a labor demonstration that will take place in the Central Terminal Area from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Officials do not anticipate the worker demonstrations will have material impact on passenger arrivals or departures.  However, it is recommended that passengers arrive 2 hours prior to departing domestic flights and 3 hours prior to international departures.   Motorist picking up passengers are also asked to allow for extra time and to expect groups of demonstrators crossing streets in and around the Central Terminal Area.

Motorists should consider entering and exiting LAX using Century Boulevard; and entrances at  I-105 North and 96th Street entrances.
