WESTCHESTER PARKWAY CLOSURE NEAR LAX SET MARCH 29
DURING LA CIRCUIT BICYCLE RACE, ALTERNATE ROUTES ADVISED

            (Los Angeles, California – March 27, 2009)  Motorists traveling to Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) Sunday, March 29 should avoid Westchester Parkway and use alternate routes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. due to the LA Circuit Bicycle Race.

            Westchester Parkway , located just north of LAX, will be closed to traffic in both directions, between Pershing Drive and Sepulveda Westway during the race activities.

            Alternate routes available for motorists entering and exiting LAX include Century Boulevard, eastbound and westbound, and Sepulveda Boulevard, north and southbound.

            Los Angeles World Airports is the Los Angeles city department that owns and

operates LAX, LA/Ontario International (ONT) and Van Nuys airports.
