TRAFFIC ADVISORY --CALTRANS ANNOUNCES PARTIAL CLOSURE OF LINCOLN BOULEVARD (HWY 1) AT SEPULVEDA INTERSECTION FOR SURVEY WORK

(Los Angeles, California -- July 20, 2011)  The California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) has notified Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that it will close all northbound  lanes of Lincoln Boulevard at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard near LAX, Wednesday  July 20 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 21 for survey work.

            One southbound lane on Lincoln Boulevard will remain open for motorists going into LAX. Motorists leaving the airport, who need access to Lincoln Boulevard are advised to continue north on Sepulveda and make a left onto westbound Manchester Avenue.

            No significant delays or backups are expected as a result of this partial lane closure.
