TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- LAX CENTRAL TERMINAL AREA TRAFFIC LIGHTING PROJECT
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) advises that beginning about 6:30 a.m. this morning, Monday, May 9, 2011, electrical power to all traffic signals inside the passenger terminal area will be temporarily inoperable for up to 90 minutes due to work related to the Central Utility Plant Replacement Project. Prior to shut down, Los Angeles Airport Police and Traffic Services officers will be deployed at the affected traffic signals to control traffic flow and facilitate pedestrian crossings. This will be repeated again beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11.
