BOAC Commissioner Introduces State Controller at United Chambers Installation

(Woodland Hills, California – January 26, 2012)  On January 26, BOAC Commissioner Joseph Aredas along with other Los Angeles World Airports officials attended the United Chambers of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley 36th Annual Business Recognition & Installation Luncheon at the Hilton Woodland Hills in Woodland Hills, CA.  During the luncheon, Commissioner Aredas introduced State Controller John Chiang.  Chiang was elected in November of 2006 – and again in November of 2010 – as Controller of the State of California, the eighth-largest economy in the world.

The luncheon also served as a meeting ground for business and civic officials, and to award those which exemplify the organization’s motto to “Keep Business Moving.”  Among those awarded were NBC Universal, the Green Thumb Nursery, and C&M Printing as large, medium, and small business of the year, respectively.

The United Chambers of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley and Region is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation and coalition of 32 business organizations – including twenty member chambers – that represent over 21,000 businesses supporting over 387,000 jobs within the area.
