JANUARY ISSUE OF LAX CONNECTION E-NEWSLETTER NOW AVAILABLE

 

              (L os Angeles, California – January 31, 2012) The January issue of LAX Connection E-newsletter is now available online.   The newsletter provides information to the public and the travel-tourism industry about Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) passenger services and new air service.

 

This month’s issue features news on crime dropping 27 percent at LAX in 2011; passenger volume increasing 4.7 percent in 2011; TSA Prev™ pilot program beginning at LAX for American Airlines frequent flyers; LAneXt™ launching a public outreach program on construction of new Tom Bradley International Terminal; Air China debuting B777-300ER on its nonstop Beijing route; Turkish Airlines announcing daily flights to Istanbul beginning March 2012; Virgin America adding three nonstop flights to Philadelphia starting April 2012; and Southwest announcing a daily nonstop flight to Atlanta in June 2012.
