(Los Angeles, California – January 18, 2012)  Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) today celebrated HMSHost’s Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) branch donation of $125,000 from its 2011 fundraising campaign to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a member of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, at the newly opened Nate ‘n Al Delicatessen in Terminal 2.

To kick-off the 2012 fundraising campaign, Nate ‘n Al Delicatessen will donate 10 percent of its January 17-24 sales at both LAX and its flagship location in Beverly Hills to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

“We are both grateful for 2011 and excited about our 2012 partnership with HMSHost at LAX,” said Joanne Reyes, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Partnerships and Cause Marketing for Children’s Hospital.  “The genuine care that HMSHost has already shown to Children’s Hospital is outstanding, and we are proud that HMSHost is helping us to create hope and build healthier futures for the children in our community.”

Throughout 2011, HMSHost’s LAX associates and their families participated in numerous activities such as Walk for Kids 5K fundraiser; encouraging travelers to donate CMN coin donation canisters at HMSHost’s LAX restaurants; and “Christmas in July” toy drive in partnership with LAWA, among others.

“LAWA strongly believes in social responsibility and we praise HMSHost’s generous and continuous support of Children’s Miracle Network and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles,” said LAWA Managing Director for Media and Public Relations Mary Grady.  “We applaud Nate ‘n Al for donating proceeds from sales at LAX for the next week to this great cause.”
